What is NP D-Fy?

North Port Drug-Free Youth is an organization of peers who share the commitment to make positive choices and live a healthy, drug-free life. Members are eligible to receive local discounts and attend special NP D-Fy events. There will also be opportunities to receive scholarships and internships in the future.

What do members do?

“Open Events” will be held throughout the year, which any middle or high school age youth can attend. But only members get the discounts and entrance to special events. Members will also have opportunities to participate in community service events and, in the future, be eligible for scholarships and internships. Members set the agenda for the special events and activities of the group, and help develop opportunities for youth to develop leadership and life skills that will benefit them throughout their lifetime.

How do I join?

There is NO membership fee to join. You can come to our “Thursdays at Morgan Center” every Thursday from 2:30 -5:30 to obtain an application. Or, contact us to get one. Your commitment to be alcohol, tobacco and drug-free is validated through a confidential drug screening when you join, and random screening throughout membership. Once the application is validated, you will receive a photo membership ID card. This card gains you entrance at member-only events and gets you discounts at local businesses and retailers.

page for information on the dates, times and locations of the meetings. (NP D-Fy Events are for members-only, but anyone can attend an “Open Event”).
